Miniature cake workshop at the V & A

So I've finally designed a cake that I can use for the workshop I'm doing at the V & A later this month! I thought I would go for a design that is similar to something from my current collection and in the end settled for a simpler version of my chocolate cake that's presented on a ceramic plate. The one I'm going to show people how to make at the workshop has the same chocolate cake base but with a slightly smaller blob of cream on the top and it has a strawberry rather than a cherry.  The simpler design doesn't have the chocolate sauce and it's not presented on a plate.  The workshop is suppose to be fun and it should demonstrate some of the basics of miniature cake making! Lot's of people ask me how I make my miniature food jewellery when I sell them at different events so this should be a great opportunity for people to find out for themselves!

The event will take place at the Victoria & Albert Museum on 31st August 2012 from 18.30 to 22.00.  Click here for more details from their website.  As well as making cake jewellery with me, they also have Shu Uemura eyes and lips bar, nail bar, wig bar and Kawaii illustration workshop! All events are free and places designated on a first come, first served basis so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment!  See you there! :) x
