Some new sweet things

Spent last weekend experimenting with some new designs. I thought creme caramels and pancakes might be a nice addition to my little collection :) The creme caramels are each decorated with glossy caramel, whipped cream and a strawberry. The stacks of pancakes are topped with thick syrup and a small bit of butter. I also made some croissants with glossy chocolate sauce drizzled all over it and a few danish pastries. As usual these have been made with polymer clay and coloured to make them look like they'd been baked.

This gorgeous miniature table is from Dollhouse Emporium and I absolutely love it! It's perfect for my miniature cakes! I'm planning to use these charms as rings and earrings. More pictures of the finished products will be posted soon :) x

DIY Japanese washi tape phone case

Just received my new phone and wanted to make a pretty phone case for it so I used some of the washi tapes I got when I went to Osaka end of last year. It's so simple to make and only takes a few minutes! I got some gorgeous MT washi tapes and also a Moomin one! You can get washi tapes from ebay and other craft stores but I would recommend you spend a little bit more on it as the quality is much better. I think the MT ones are the best and a small tape goes a long way so it's enough for loads of crafty projects! I absolutely love my new phone case and hope you guys will have fun making your own! :) x

What you'll need...

  • a phone case
  • some washi tapes
  • a craft knife (please be careful not to cut yourself!)
and that's it! its easy peasy!

A light colour phone case because otherwise the colour may show through the tape if its light in colour

I started doing the bottom in a straight line but you can stick it diagonally or pretty much anyway you prefer

Keep adding different tapes, make sure its long enough on both sides to wrap around the sides and tuck into the inside of the back

Use a craft knife to cut the holes where the buttons and cameras are

Voila! A pretty phone case :)

Love is in the air~

It's coming up to Valentine's day so I wanted to make something that would suit the occasion. I stumbled upon this blog post on Bloglovin by A Beautiful Mess which is what inspired this latest mini food jewellery. Heart shaped waffles for earrings, made with polymer clay and each decorated with strawberry and cream, perfect sweetness for the special day! These waffles are miniatures at 1.3cm wide :)

And don't forget my giveaway for the cookie earrings is still running at the moment! See my last post for more details on how to win :) xxx

Chocolate chip cookie earrings

Finally finished the chocolate chip cookie earrings! The chocolate chips are also made with polymer clay just like the rest of the cookie. I used a gloss sealer and colours to make the cookies look moist and baked. These stud earrings are small (1cm) and cute and I'm gonna be wearing these everyday I think! :) xx
